For caliper measurement reps, you need to have the calipers tell you the same lock description (i.e., "fairly simple") as the lock actually is. Find out the lock size before measuring the lock, then keep using the calipers until you get the correct reading. There's several ways to determine the lock size:
1) Have a LM master measure the box for you. 2) Have a bard sing to the box. (Best choice -- should work 100%.) 3) Use a lousy pick and hope you get a read without clicking the lock. | |||
