6/29/2001 Deaths and Assists
As many of you know, a GameHost automatically responds to the next person in the assist line. If you are dead when a GameHost arrives, they are required to exit the area quickly to prevent their presence from interfering with any rescue attempts. This is usually followed by a message asking you to re-assist when alive.

To better accommodate everyone, instead of having a GameHost arrive for your assist and then depart, the system will check to see if you are dead. If so, you will get a message saying you were passed over at this time due to death. You still get to keep your place in line, so that a GameHost can resume helping you when you are alive again.

By making this change, we are attempting to add that extra little step and improve our customer service response, as well as help you resolve your needs as fast as possible.

6/26/2001 Change to titles
Due to popular demand, we will be changing the existing pre-titles. To vote on your title preferences for levels 20, 50, 100 and 150, send an email to [email protected].

Please check News 2 14 for more details on pre-titles.

6//11/2001 A blue streak.
Ever have a steel golem slam its huge foot on yours? +!^@*#, that hurts! Now you can express your agitation a bit more vividly at such an occurrence, with the SWEAR verb.

6/11/2001 Snap, Crackle, Pop...
Revisions to the breakage will be occurring over the next few weeks. There will be noticeable modifications to weapons, shields and armors breakage factors (strength & durability).

The breakage system will NOT be going live as yet. There will be an additional announcement prior to the breakage system going live.

6/4/2001 Premium Plus alteration information
Please do not assist to inquire about the status of your premium plus alteration. The hosts are unable to look up that information for you and have been asked not to refer those requests to GM's. If you are having a problem with your scroll or the item that you requested was taken from you and has not been returned, you may assist about those types of problems.

As I continue to open the alterations to more people, the process may take longer. Please be patient as you will receive your alteration.
If you have been waiting over a month and you have not heard from Sadie, I will be more than happy to check into the status of your request. E-mail me at [email protected] and include your player's name that requested the alteration, and the description of the alteration. Thanks! Tigermist.

6/3/2001 Title changes
Local political constituents have successfully lobbied for official recognition of new titles for aging adventurers. Adventurers of vast experience may now flaunt their existence with newly accepted titles. These titles become available at advanced levels. "Legendary" adventurers are those with fifty or greater successful trainings. "High Lord" and "High Lady" are bestowed upon those with one hundred or greater successful trainings. Adventurers with one hundred and fifty or greater successful trainings are honored with the title "the Esteemed."

Special consideration will be given to those who have outlived the eldest of creatures. Those that have breached this upper limit will be awarded the title "the Renowned." A handful of advanced adventurers who have far exceeded the upper limit will be designated with the title, "the Venerable."

Access to these titles is manipulated with the TITLE verb.

If there are any ties, those entries are sent back out to the GM's to vote on again. Marisol will be voting on her favorite entries as well. (This is done almost exactly as Premium Contests are done.) Any questions should be forwarded to Sage Marisol via her e-mail address.
