8/30/2001 Important Announcement
Update your bookmarks! We are pleased to announce that in September, Simutronics will replace the current GemStone III website with a new website. Because the design of the new website is dramatically changed, we wished to set aside any concerns that our new website may not be legitimate. We will post more information about this exciting new development as it's available.

8/15/2001 Game Policy Clarifications in Effect
Effective August 13, 2001, GemStone III has updated and clarified its game policies. If you wish to read the revisions, you may type POLICY. Note that this is NOT a new policy, but is putting in writing policies that are already being handled by the Game Staff. The policy can be discussed on the Message Boards in the New Player Topic under the New Player Category.

8/6/2001 Luukos Strikes Again! Voln Swears Revenge!
Reports have come in that due to a dastardly move by Luukos, the Voln Symbol of Holiness might not affect certain weapons that it was previously able to. Priests of Voln have sworn that they are attempting to find ways of thwarting this unexpected move by the dark god, but have come up flabbergasted to date.

(The weapons affected were never intended to be able to be used with this ability. The change is to correct this and set the ability of the symbol back in line with its original intent.)
