Spring, time of renewal and traditional celebration of romantic love and friendship, will again be honored by both lively and heartfelt festivities sponsored by House Brigatta beginning the 3rd of Ivastaen and continuing until the 5th (May 3-5). Partake of the exquisite catering and hospitality. Participate in the contests. Dance away the hours with a special someone, perhaps meet someone new? Have your fortune revealed by the travelling gypsy troupe...maybe tie the knot or renew your vows during one of the mass weddings that will be held throughout the weekend.
Following is the current schedule of events (It is subject to change): Friday, May 2 ~ 9:00 PM EST - Flower Fetching Contest. Win thousands of silvers in prizes! Saturday, May 3 ~ 6:00 PM EST ~ Brigatta Orienteering Race. A fun race event with great prizes! Sunday, May 4 ~ 8:00 PM EST ~ Auction @ House Brigatta Garden North All events will begin at House Brigatta, will which be open for the duration of the festivities. |

| The good ship Glaesen Star, while on a routine voyage from Kharam-Dzu to Wehnimer's Landing, was recently attacked by krolvin raiders. Although the raiders were repelled by brave passengers under the leadership of Prince Eregrek Borthuum of Teras Isle, the ship suffered some structural damage. Repairs are underway, but transport between Kharam-Dzu and Wehnimer's Landing has been temporarily disrupted. | |

| 4/2/2003 | AUCTION IN SUPPORT OF US TROOPS |

On the evening of April 12th, at 10:30 EST, there will be an auction in the Wehnimer's Landing Moot Hall to benefit and honor the players of GemStone III who are currently serving in the military. This is an opportunity for anyone in the community to show their appreciation to the people among us who are either fighting in the Middle East or supporting our troops stateside. This is not an event that is in support of the war. This is an event in support of the troops.
Each item will be auctioned off by one of our military players and all proceeds from the auction will be divided between them so that each and every one of them can have a little more fun during their downtime in GemStone. The goal is to raise 5m silvers for each of them. There will be auction items for all level players. There will be self-charging items, weighted swords, and padded armors. This is not a Simutronics run auction. It is a player run auction but many of the items sold will be of auction quality. Please check the Auction Topic in the GemStone III Forums (http://www.play.net/forums/messages.asp?forum=30&category=10&topic=25) for further updates. If you know of any members of the GS community who are in the military or you yourself are in the military, please write to [email protected].
