| The Order of the Lorekeepers is unfortunate to announce there will be no Storytelling Night in River's Rest on the 15th of Imaerasta (September). Various reasons, including a Call Wind accident blowing stories all about the chamber, have brought this cancellation. The Order is in hopes the stories will be straightened out for the next storytelling session on the 1st of Jastatos (October). | |

Twice monthly, The Order of Lorekeepers will be hosting a storytelling hour. Guest narrators will be telling the tales which make up the history of our lands. These events will take place on the 1st and 15th of each month, in The Stone Eye's Meeting Room, at 10:00 pm Eastern.
Stories will be historical in nature and in some cases, will provide background information pertinent to current events in the lands. In many cases, actual participants in the events will be on hand to answer questions following the tale, or may be telling the tales themselves. Please join us!! Currently we have scheduled: Lady Azure on 7/1/99 - "The Sage of Xarann" Lord Jorak on 7/15/99 - "The Babe, The Box & The Vvrael" - A view of the past through the eyes of Jorak, one of the first encounters with the Vvrael If you would like to participate and have a tale of historical value to tell, or simply an interesting tale that actually happened to you (no fiction please), then send a description of the tale, along with the approximate length of time to tell it, to [email protected]. The only requirement is that these be actual events that happened, or ones known to be of historical value such as some of the histories of the races, Arkati, etc. If you missed a tale, and would like to read a log of the event, you'll find them all at http://mentors.play.net |
